Dr. Becker's national and worldwide educational efforts. Dr. Becker has published over 100 articles in the medical
literature, and he lectures nationally and internationally on nose and sinus treatment.
He has been an invited guest lecturer at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Rhinology Course,
and has also spoken at the Cleveland Clinic, the University of California in San Francisco, the
University of Virginia, and numerous other prestigious institutions. Dr Becker was also the invited
guest lecturer of the Japanese Rhinologic Society, where he gave a keynote speech on Powered
Instrumentation and Image Guided Surgery in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. Dr. Becker was also one of the program
organizers and speakers at Rhinology World, a a major international conference hosted by the University
of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He is the Guest of Honor at an International course in Amsterdam in 2009, and
a guest speaker an an International course in Italy as well.
Due to Dr. Becker's expertise and international reputation, visiting surgeons from Sweden, Italy, Japan, Egypt and elsewhere have come to observe his techniques.
Because of his background and training, Dr. Becker tries to read everything published in the specialty journals about the nose and sinuses. There is such an abundance of new knowledge in the ear, nose and throat specialty that it is almost impossible to be a true expert in all of these areas. So I decided that the way to provide the best care for my patients was to subspecialize in the area that I know best." |
